HMS Sulphur was a 10-gun Hecla -class bomb vessel of the British Royal Navy, famous as one of the ships in which Edward Belcher explored the Pacific coast of the Americas . WebThe Bomb Vessel Granado was ordered on 14th September 1741 and the contract was given to the Ipswich shipbuilder John Barnard. Launched on 22nd June 1742. Her construction work was overseen by the great Navel surveyor and architect Thomas Slade who later designed Nelson’s Victory.
