They're not synthetic, but if you're not opposed to leather definitely check out CTK saddles ( from Colombia, made for Pasos but they fit other gaited horses ) which are sold through Sycamore Creek Saddlery in TN. I bought one used for $500 ( in Canada ), but even new they're $500-$1000.
