Canon pixma printer keeps turning off
WebMay 16, 2024 · My problem is that the printer keeps randomly turning itself off when not used and then when turned back on it has forgotten all of the network settings and so has to be reinstalled each printing session. This is obviously very inconvenient and irritating to have to do this each time. My prior Canon printer did not have this issue. WebJun 1, 2024 · I have the Canon Pixma MX492. I replaced the black ink cartridge with a new one the other day and used it twice without any problems. Early this morning it started turning off and on by itself. I tried unplugging it and rebooting it and it won't stay on long enough to do anything. It doesn't even give an error message and none of the buttons work.
