The Cilcain Mountain Race (AS) 7.5km is held alongside the Cilcain Show on August Bank Holiday Monday. First run in 1960 and then annually since 1973. The Clwydian Hills Fell Race (AM) 14.5km is held at the end of October. WebThe Cilcain Mountain Race which is held each year on August Bank Holiday Monday as part of the Cilcain Show. The race is the normal format of Church start & finish and the loop route – up the zig-zags and down the north spur. The race starts 1pm with registration from 11.00am-12.30pm in the churchyard. Registrations on day only.
