This is done with a 50/50 mixture of Durham's Water Putty and Light Weight Spackle. You just want to add enough water to make it paintable with a foam brush.
WebNov 21, 2013 · Another thing I found in my Discus and DG-1000 is that the wing tubes just go into balsa ribs. So over time they can come loose in fact on the Discus they were loose when the kit arrived. the wing tubes were also very flimsy. They are cheap and you get what you pay for. They still look great in the air and most of them fly ok on the slope.
