Clock a GPU faster and performance will improve, but temperatures will also increase.

WebJul 24, 2024 · What I did was download CRU and overclock my monitor up to 110hz. Restart PC and enjoy. Now the problem is gone. Gpu Memory drops down to 100hz (watmann) Temps and power consumption also drops. Before the overclock I had to downgrade the resolution along the refresh rate in order for the memory clock to go down. WebFeb 10, 2024 · Normally it should clock down to around 500MHz and consume more like 30W when idling. I've had this issue before and somehow fixed it. But i can't remember how. My energy settings are "balanced" in Windows and "normal" in the Nvidia driver. DDUing does not fix it. I have no OC app like Afterburner installed, no GeForce Experience, etc.
