High negative fuel trim
WebMy understanding of negative fuel trim is that the computer thinks there's too much fuel (or not enough air) in the fuel ratio so it subtracts the amount of fuel supplied, thus showing a negative reading. Am i correct in this? Based on that assumption, I suspected a leaky injector leaking too much fuel into cylinder 2. WebJun 12, 2024 · When idling, trims just go way negative and then once warm, the jerking and hesitation occurs. Dealer indicated the O2 sensors were good. New sensors like MAF, MAP pre, MAP post, air charge, etc. So, picked up a second ECU to flash a stock tune (factory from scratch to be sure the "stock" tune in the car really was stock).
