Web14 apr. 2024 · Posted April 5, 2024. I traided for this neglected old Marlin 1891 32 rimfire at a local gunshop just a bit ago. I haven't even started to take it apart and clean it up. The only obvious problem is the spring that holds the lever closed is missing, broke or not doing it's job. Otherwise, it looks solid and complete. Web7 jun. 2024 · This is a take down lever action rifle with short optic rail. In order to take the barrel off the receiver, you have to flip open the locking lever on the end of the magazine tube. Unscrew the magazine tube until it is free and then pull it out about half an inch.
