Web18 oct. 2012 · If the exhaust pipe is so rusted it'll break in a few months, that kit is not going to last very long as the movement of the breaking pipe will mostly render it ineffective. OTOH if it's a small hole and the rest of the pipe is in decent shape, it'll last you a while.
