WebSep 4, 2024 · Eventually I was able to get the rear sight to go in over a third but not quite halfway into the dovetail. Tapped the sight out with a Dawson Precision nylon tipped punch, wiped a bit of gun oil to the bottom of the sight and the dovetail and again used that punch to drift it to center. Looks good. Neither the slide nor the sight got marred.
