Communication proved difficult at first as the organizers could only interact with the refugee families through sign language and drawing. WebbThe brainchild of this initiative is Lim Yuet Kim, who co-founded The Picha Project with her friends Suzanne Ling and Lee Swee Lin to give refugee families a dignified way of earning a living. Today, Picha Project has successfully empowered 10 families of approximately 55 people from being debt-ridden into having savings.
