Since aesthetic values are shaped by culture, society, class, religion, politics, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, and ability, art intervenes in ethical and social-political issues—and vice versa. WebbHuman beings have two capacities: conceiving and presenting. Our imagination is able to conceive an idea but it is not able to present an object which will correspond to the concept. The beautiful is the coincidence of conceiving and presenting.
